custom exclusions are rare and those I've had to create have been due to vendor stupidity, like sharing updates in an AWS container. Pros: Bitdefender Gravityzone Business is an extremely cost effective and high performance solution that puts the 5 other enterprise endpoint protection products I've managed over the last 20 years to shame. It's a bit overly cautious in my opinion, but that's good for some, but it can be a little tricky to get some websites that you need white listed properly, but anytime we've had an issue, their support team has always been able to step in and fix it for us. I have had a little trouble with their white listing function. They've got a lot of widgets if you need to manage multiple devices, you'll be able to see a lot of information right from the first screen, in the dashboard of the management portal. You'd be able to download a trial and see how easy their user interfaces to work with. Give their support team a call, they'd be happy to walk you through it. If you're considering Bitdefender, then definitely look into some of the third-party testing, they perform really well. So once it's just a simple download and a push out to all the computers on the network and then we're up and running. We had a trial before we purchased the product and so we were able to move smoothly from the trial to just having it running. Their support team was there with us the entire way. It was a really smooth process getting started with Bitdefender. So we were able to use it, get a little familiar with it, realized we liked the the portal, the interface, it was very user-friendly so we went ahead and purchased it. When we worked with them, they were able to let us do a trial of the product. We chose Bitdefender because they have great third-party testing, really great results in that area as far as quality of the product, its ability to protect you from malware, ransomware, all that bad stuff. We wanted to switch to something that had upgraded scanning engines, a little bit more user-friendly management portal, and just the ability to manage multiple devices.
